You are pretty darn close. It is nice for jumps, since the line is stiffer than what we use now, it doesn't get tangeled as easily. I only tried one jump, but I will try more, next trip to FL.

The designer told me a story about a collapse behind him, and how he was afraid the line might have been broken. Yea, the new stuff is tough. Using it for jump reels, it should last a long time.

I wonder how it would compare to the Dive Gear Express exclusive Hi-Viz Line. I have used it before and this was some strong stuff. It's still braided but from Dacron.

I guess its for the SWAT Cave team... They use it for "conceal jumps". Similar to a blind jump but black instead of transparent. They don't teach that in non-SWAT full cave...
