Hard to believe there is so much concern over, for still unknown reasons, such an accomplishment. We have practically all entered this activity for the different challenges it creates in each of us. Which one of us would not get excited about the possibility of exploring a new, or a new part of an existing cave, system? If that’s not the case, why even venture off the main line? The majority are not prepared to even take on such an endeavor. Hard to imagine the amount of preparation put into this project. Hours and hours of devotion to this passion throughout a multitude of years, gaining the expertise and honing the skills to even contemplate the requirements needed for even an attempt at this goal. Not to mention the amount of personal resources, time and money!
There will always be one person or group, condemning another for accomplishments they desired to complete, usually for selfish reasons.
There will always be exploration, no matter how enormous a project or how small and trivialized by others, all over the world, on this planet and beyond, in many different aspects of life, science and faith.
Only one person can be the first. Congrats Andrew. Looking forward to the article.
