Can someone please post the text from the petition?

Why would they do that? Then everyone knows how petty they are. It is best kept secret so they never have to stand behind their immature actions.

I'm just curious about what their reasons are, as I have been unable to think about what a legit reason for not publishing data would be. This thread is growing and a lot of people are gettin hot but I still don't know what the reasons are behind any of this.

But then again I'm one of those people that live on the wrong coast too.

Relax Sludge. This is a discussion on cave diving and I think it has stayed well within parameters.

Yep...I am hoping that Tom will man-up and post what he did in a PM to me -- his reasons for wanting to stop publicizing the exploration.

I will give the reason that I started this s**t storm at the appropriate time. That will be after Andrew has his meeting with the folks at Ginnie. He has to appease them, not me. As for the petition being pushed by the guy or guys that dug in another tunnel; I can positively assure you that is not the case at all.

Just for the record I had the petition to get the opinions of some folks last weekend. To those of you that read it and commented on it was what its intent was just that to get people thinking about all of what is going on and to let their opinions known.

And NO I am not going to post the petition, not yet, maybe never.

I'm still puzzled as to why you and Jim didn't just call me.

Just to put you in the loop, your petition may have worked, but not because I have any respect for you or your actions. I've told Larry that if he feels it's in the best interest of the community then he shouldn't publish it. I'll put it somewhere, but believe it or not, I don't want to get Ginnie closed off to scooters, solo diving etc. any more than you do.
