Yeah, you need to do quite a bit of swimming with the scooter... but it's fun when it opens up. And the scooter is a great way to get to the mouth from the ramp.

I've left my car at the ramp - bit it was in winter, may be different in summer. Less traffic.

Ah. ( smile ) I agree with the scootering up the river.

I timed our swim(s) (sans scooters) upriver. We covered it in about 8-10 minutes.
Like CCJ said , the nassy part is getting from the river into the spring itself. Don't touch the land now ...
