    Yes, it pops some sucker ads, but the movie plays fine. I thought it was great. None of the typical Hollywood hoohaw. You really feel for the survivors, and the recovery team.

    Nice, thanks for the link. I wish they had more info/video of the dives and the logistics. Liked the music from the closing credits, too. Well done, Finnish divers, those were super challenging dives, 400+ft, freezing water, body and some gear recovery, impressive.
    I also had no idea one can carry on a conversation while on the loop.

    Wow, you have to admire the resolve of these divers. About speaking underwater with a reg in your mouth, are there some languages that are more conducive to communicating while diving?

    OT: I had some tricks to occupy students in the pool. One was to remove one of your dive boots, hold the edge, fill it with air from your reg, take a deep breath, then seal the hole of the boot around your mouth, and yell words into the resultant airspace! Nearby divers could often hear quite clearly. I imagine the sound waves vibrate the sole of the boot and propagate into the water.
