Bob, Please, A Bozo, not THE Bozo...there are many who have served well as bozos and suggest that a listen to the following may be appropriate....I think we are all bozos on this bus....

I don't think it is different in diving than it is in any other outdoor activities or sports. I also don't think it's all from the men's side. Why do so many women choose female instructors? Are they being sexist? Or are they avoiding sexist male instructors?Men and women are different. If we are talking about diving or cave diving then it only matters if those differences apply underwater. With groups such as women divers hall of fame, or women specific diving records then I would say people do think the differences between men and women matter with regard to diving. So I guess it depends on how we define sexism.

One of the zip line guides asked me if my wife had a nice p*ssy in Costa Rica (direct quote). Tact must get lost in translation. Wasn't sure if I should be mad or if a tourist told them an alternative meaning Of that....other than that they were very professional so who knows what they though they were saying or what was culturally appropriate. We could have chosen to be offended but we kinda figured it was a joke gone wrong.
I will take this as an insult. For you to think I have 38:13 to dedicate to listening to that rather than try and Loctite on my out dated prop assembly is, frankly, a slap in the face.
PS--I gave it a few minutes but my sound was either not quite right or someone recorded it with a mini cassette player Jesus gave them for their birthday. In other words, a cheap one.

If I were to add anything of value to this thread it would be that I believe racism to be far more pervasive in cave diving than sexism.
