My name is Shirley Kasser Creech and I approve this message. Well, at least one of me does, anyway. Maybe. Fire. Sharp things. Squirrel!
Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.
Shirley, you're fired.
Whoever said money can't buy love never bought a puppy.
Oliver I am glad you decided not to go GUE. If you had you couldn't dive with a stroke like me. Plus just think of all the cool cave you would have not got to see. I enjoyed diving with you while you were here in the states and stay warm in Germany.
I love fire!

Yes I know Halcyon makes a sidemount rig but the last I knew there was no GUE class for diving sidemount. Heard they were working on it and that their basic cave classes were still going to be backmount only and that sidemount was going to be a specialty for only certain dives. Sort of like how they treat the RB80 rebreather. There is nothing wrong with backmount and in some situations it is easier but it is not nearly as versatile as sidemount is. I can't think of one dive that you can do backmount that you can't do sidemount but I can think of lots of dives where backmount is impossible unless you were to remove your tanks and push them in front of you which I don't really see as practical especially in a drysuit.
