I met Laurent and his fellow divers a few weeks ago on the Mill Pond and they were really nice guys. He just posted this video on Facebook and I was so impressed with it that I thought some on here might find it interesting to see how pretty Cypress Springs is. There isn't much cave there only a few 100' of basically no mount passage that I have found but the cavern and basin are an excellent dive. The canoe / kayak trip is also a lot of fun and it makes for an excellent day. I hope Laurent doesn't mind me posting the video here but I was impressed.

For those not on Facebook, we took my mother kayaking there last week and the place was backed up. The water was up about eight feet and visibility was pretty much zero. We had had a gulley-washer two days earlier.

    Very disappointing.

Scott Hunsucker did quite a bit of sidemounting in that area. He was one of the few WKPPers who would go side or no mounting.

We laugh when we run into some of his line arrows in passage that are definitely sidemount. Hunsucker on one side and WKPP on the other. What would GI3 do if he had caught him diving unsafe. Ward you Hunsucker and Leonhardt definitely found some cool cave up this way. I am just glad you didn't find it all.

Cypress is amazing. Finally we rented canoes at oldcypresscanoe.com
After some paddling we arrived at Cypress Spring and we were all surprised by the beauty of the site. We spent a very long time in the spring and visited the small cavern. No way I would dare risking my camera in the flow of the entrance so I have only pictures from outside: https://drive.google.com/folderview?...W8&usp=sharing
Thanks everyone for the valuable information... Laurent

It was nice meeting you and your friends Laurent. The pictures and videos your group did and posted are very good. Look forward to seeing you again.
