This is the south. We put mustard AND ketchup on hot dogs.

(Although I have a friend who puts mayonnaise on them.)

12 and 13 are already volunteered (on Post #1, not the later post where Post #1 is quoted), so I have you down for 1, 2, and 43. If you still want to bring more, bring an extra 20# of charcoal, but if we end up not using it, you can take it home with you.

    Thanks!

Okay, we're four days out! We have most items covered, but not all. So if you are coming at the last minute, or are feeling extra generous, here's what we need:

Chips! Monday night's cookout is just hot dogs and chips. So we need to make sure we have plenty of great, big bags of assorted chips.

Cheese! We need several 24-packs of American cheese for the burgers.

Ice! Sometimes, Ginnie provides us with a boatload of ice, but I don't know about this year. Bob or Marissa, fill us in.

Baked beans. Or your specialty soup, whatever it may be. If you want to bring a crockpot, there is electricity.

Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions! We have a knife to slice them.

Also, we probably have enough drinks and charcoal, but if a few people will bring an extra 12-pack of their favorite soft drinks, you can leave them in your car, and only break them out if we run low. The same goes for charcoal - if you regularly grill with charcoal, throw a 10-pound bag in your car that we could use in an emergency.
