FWIW: My wife will not be diving either but she likes to play cards and socialize (gab, hang out, whatever....) and if we get permission to park down near the pavilion I will prolly do that for the day or two and then move back to regular spot up the hill as the party breaks up or I run out of willing dive buddies!

Lynn is still debating on whether or not to do the Galaxy Dive - she has fewer than twenty dives at the open water level. So your wife will have company whatever she decides.

(There are some cave divers who attend the mini-cookout and decide to have a beer or two at the bonfire, so they skip the Galaxy Dive.)

Speaking of OW divers, I assume it's OK for my Daughter who is OW to dive the Galaxy dive? She has maybe a 100 or so dives and is comfortable in the dark and will be with me.

They have no rule against it.

    Sludge,

I've got #11, #12, and #13. And will bring some extra barley pop to share. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Edit: Thanks, MacLeod. I decided 72 total dogs wouldn't be enough since we'll cook that many at the Galaxy Dive alone, so I changed the list to say you'll bring 72, and someone else can sign up to bring more for the NYD social. - Slüdge

It will be very very dark for a bit, unless you watch the exit. Then it will be very very galaxy for quite a while. She'll be fine as long as you both get there before most of the crowd and settle onto a ledge. After a while the ledge space will be a little crowded and then trim and bouyancy will matter much more.

I have a Sam's Club business membership and would be happy to bring the Sodas if that's OK?
