Lucky for you.. Mine won't even open water dive. Plus, all of her family is here and she wants to stay close.

I kinda feel bad. I was complaining about the 2 hour drive to Ginnie today. I guess it pays to live down here. I have definately gotten spoiled. I won't even go vacation anywhere else unless it is tropical. I also need a drysuit when the temp gets below 70 outside. I have become a total wus.

It would be great to live up there. Then there wouldn't be the long sleepy drive home. Or is that just me that drives home that way after a couple dives?

Yep, I'm looking forward to my twice a year, 1,490 miles, 25 hours driving time trip to Dive Outpost. Leaving a week from Wednesday! Can't wait!

Problem is, what do you do for a living up there? I don't know of many "high" paying jobs in the area... Are there?

"Lots"? I count 5 without humping tanks and that start above 150'. But otherwise yes on the "permit". Quotes not an accident.

Even what's considering decent pay elsewhere isn't that great in North Florida. I just keep telling my self it's all about the caves and that keeps me happy.

When you can cave dive every day, who cares about being rich?
