I've already had this swap. It didn't work great for me. I'm being sent an unbalanced conversion kit while they continue to work out the links on the balanced valves.

Default Trigon balanced pee valve leaks...

What happens when descending and not relieving at the same time with an unbalanced valve? Any discomfort?

No problem or discomfort - just pee enough to fill the tubing with urine before descending.

I leave the valve cracked a bit. Never a problem even doing super fast hot drops in the ocean on scooters.

If you are plugged in just make sure the valve is open prior to entry. I have not filled the tube prior to entry and have never felt discomfort.

Agreed, the vacuum myth is busted, no discomfort whatsoever during descent to 250 ft.
