Trigon balanced pee valve leaks...

Not sure how many people here have one, but I'm trying to troubleshoot (or just replace) a pair of sitech trigon balanced pee valves. I have two valves on two suits and they leak small amounts of urine into the suit through the holes under the diaphragm in the balance chamber (so, I get a nice wet leg by the end of the dive). I have the new replacement chambers from SiTech, and they leak too. I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with these and have figured out how to prevent the leaks (cue 35 messages telling me to buy an unbalanced valve).

I had a Halcyon balanced p valve and it started leaking. It was the little duck bill valve under a special set screw. I just pulled out the duck bill valve and got a regular set screw without the hole in it and I now have a unbalanced p valve. Over 5 years later I haven't had a issue.

Is there a way to deactivate the valve or do you simply need to be "hooked up" all the time?

The Halcyon screws shut similar to a drysuit exhaust valve.

Make It unbalanced. Plug the inlet valve inside the suit, take off the outlet mushroom valve on the outside the suit, open the outside cover when you are hooked in and you can just shut off the outside cover whenever you are not plugging in. I had the same issue with my Hacyon balanced and more recently with my OThree balanced, they where both converted to unbalanced no more issues.

After ALL my balanced valves leaking, I've had ZERO (0) issues with my unbalanced valves...

Remove the duck bill or old dodge PCB valve and put a reg port plug in it with a dab of silicone and enjoy a pee free undergarment...

I have a Trigon myself and have experienced a wet thigh from time to time even when not urinating during the dive. No foul smell either so in my case i suspect water ingress caused by squeezed suit.

I have sent an email to Sitech and asked them how to make the valve unbalanced.

I have the same problem as well.

Sitech is sending me a conversion kit to make it unbalanced while they continue fixing the issues with their balanced valves. This is the second kit I've been sent. The first kit was a new balance chamber that was supposed to fix the leaking problem.
