What's your alternative? Have some modify a 3/4" valve to fit?

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater See if this link takes you to the pics of my solution. I guess the alternative is to sell or give me your HP100s
Forrrest you have my permission to put that pic in this thread if you would like. I don't have PhotoBucket or any other online Pic server so FB is the only place I have them.
Looks interesting. What did you make it out of?
It wasn't hard
Do you have any of those "plugs" left? Did you make them yourself, or have a machine shop make them?
One other thing that could be done is cut the threaded part off the stock pieces, and tap the back, and put a screw in to plug them.
I see you got it already.
Good questions. I'm interested in knowing as well.
They are made of some stainless stock not sure of the alloy, I don't have any extras, and I didn't want to modify the stock valves or nuts in case I wanted to double them back up or if for some crazy reason these valves became more valuable than gold! I'm sure there are more ways to skin that cat but this is my solution. I'd still be interested in taking a set of those tanks off of someones hands if they were just you know.... taking up space.
That is a cool idea! Getting access to a lathe again may be a bit hard... has to be cheaper than two valves + shipping...
