The Exley's are great people, and I think I heard that Mr Exley passed away. I don't think they are in a position to administer the property. Considering the conditions in the cave system, which may never change as long as current practices continue upstream, temporary loss of the property pending litigation is a small loss.

OK, I know I am an idiot but how does closing this site help your lawsuit? I believe that closing the site could be equated to an admission that the CDS had done something wrong or unsafe.
Frankly, going to Cathedral and complaining about the vis after the rain we just had, and Madison going under, is ridiculous. What next, Thunderhole? Bet the vis there is lousy today. Leon sinks? Bet they are pretty bad also.
And Kelly, what is the magic vis number for Cathedral? I was there last spring, I could see pretty good in the cave, yeah, maybe only 30 feet, but why is that a problem? So it never goes back to 100 ft vis, so what?

Cathedral at 30ft of viz is not bad, pity you used up all your good luck up on Cathedral and not a Powerball ticket. I have been in Cathedral several times, and if I am embellished I may get 20ft out it,but realistically 10ft. Even when the drought a few years ago was at the worst, and people were diving Wilson,Cathedral was lousy. What we don't have is any historical data of nitrates of the last few years, but I am betting the s**t field upstream isn't helping much at all. I like this system, along with the history behind it,and talking to DeLoach,Zumrick,Eckhoff, and Bryant about dives there is "the day",will make you cry now.
