Raptor is one of my dive buddies here in the PNW, and it makes me sad we didn't get to cave dive together before he left. Oh well... even if there arent' caves in S. Korea there has to be somewhere near by where we can go find wet rocks!

He reads and replies to his Face Book Page. https://www.facebook.com/daehag.kim
I am almost 100 percent there are caves there as he wanted to become a cave instructor here to go back and teach the folks there who were doing cave dives without the training. I think the caves are on the island or close to them if I remember right.

The mountain areas in the Eastern side of South Korea is the place you can find limestone caves as sump. Recently there was a big finding beautiful limestone cave in the Lava tube in Jeju Island. We, Korean cave divers hoping there will be more and complex system. Currently, all caves here are national treasure and under the government protection. So, the permit is the key not to go jail.

I'm kind of new here, but the Team DRX (http://drx.co.kr/) has been operating cave research with government. You may find more info with them too.

Kamsamnida Daehag. Very good video and I really would have loved to see the exit from the water considering the surface action. Reminds me alot of Zampa Misaki in Okinawa. Question? How many months during the year are you able to dive considering the coldness. Korea was one of the coldest places I have ever been. Take care Raptor and thanks for your service.

What does it say about me that I watched the video and was utterly mesmerized by about the most textbook-perfect frog kick I've seen?
