    Default jug hole

the old lady and i single tanked jug hole today, and had a great dive in the cavern zone. no other divers in the park, a couple of swimmers, and a few curious folks who asked all the normal questions about caving and such. we had about a forty minute run time, with a max depth of around 50 feet. al 80's filled to 3000.

we also saw something that looked like a lobster about 8 to 12 inches long in the second room. it was brown with white speckles. is this thing some sort of fresh water lobster? i'm interested to find out what it is, and where else they can be found.

we just found them, apparently its called a spring run crayfish and they are disappearing from the ichetucknee, along with the turtles, according to the web.

Everything looks bigger underwater! I saw several of these there a few months ago, as well as tons of very small flounders of some sort in the cavern - lots of fun to try and catch!
