    I've been out at JB in my dry suit with an umbrella. It was raining so hard that when I ran from the pavilion to my van, the drops actually hurt my face. So I grabbed the umbrella and used it to get back. I got laughed at but I didn't have welts on my face!

    And that would have been a good comeback, had I ever done that. You already played the umbrella card....

    I'll wear my aviators if you'd like, though... After the war I had to turn in my bomber jacket.

    Retrieving your umbrella out of your unlocked car to prevent bodily harm is one thing. Having it as your only resource after locking everthing that needs to stay dry in your car because you are going to be underwater for an extended amount of time is useless.

    Davey, the only way I will find your umbrella acceptable is if you wear big yellow rainboots with them. Accessories are important.

    Sorry, I only have shrimp boots, which are white. Oh, except for the parts that aren't because they were stained by BP oil (note Transocean drill ship in the background):
