This is about the 6th change this forum has gone through.

And I hate it for weeks every time I have seen it..............then I fold up and like it.

Dude, this SO bogus!!! I clicked "Home" ten times already, and dang if I'm not still sitting in my cubicle at work!

I had the same problem when we went to an electronic medical record system in the ER - I was excited to see that it had a button for "Delete Patient". I was thinking of quite a few patients for whom this would be a very useful feature. Imagine my disappointment when I clicked on it and found that it only deleted the patient from the tracking board. Damn.

Oh, too funny! I would have had exactly the same reaction.

But board related -- what's with all the articles with weird titles, posted by Admin? When I try to open one, I get a notice that I don't have the privileges to do so.

Except, TTD has had this format for months and I still hate it there! At least bring back the old colors!

Anyone else have the visual effect of having text cut off thread titles if you control++ to increase font size?

I agree with that, but yes, I understand you are working on it....

I agree with Rob, TTD has a similar format but I still don't quite like it....

Yes, I'll give it a chance..... BTW, will it work with Tapatalk? I have not tried it since you started the "change" (sounds like menopause... can a board go through that?)

I find it ugly and difficult to use. I enjoyed the old way. It was easy to use and colorful. I don't use another forum because it is difficult to find stuff. Why the change?

I'll pretty up this beast later tonight when I'm not in the dive shop. At least I'll get started.. might take a few days to tweak it to something cool...

This new update has all kinds of bells and whistles so stay tuned for new additions.. hopefully good... but the LOOK is my 1st priority.

Thanks much tj. Folks, unfortunately, this is, simply, the default look of V-Bulletin 4.x right out of the box. There's no way around it. This is precisely how TTD looked when they converted from V-Bulletin 3.x to 4.x. And they've come pretty far. Let's give tj and Tommy B some time and see what magic they can work for us.... Some things will be permanently changed but they can apply templates etc. to get us as close to the old look and feel as is possible.

Just think of it as migrating from "XP" to "Windows CDF Vista" <ducking/running>
