Hi, anyone went recently to Cypress Spring ? Would the current be slow at this time of the year ? Thanks.

Cypress Spring in Washington County? That's the only "Cypress Spring" I know of. But there's almost no cave to speak of, so I'm guessing you mean somewhere else...

Are you talking about the Cypress Spring up near Vernon, Fl. in North Fl.? If so I was there on Labor Day weekend a little over a month ago. The flow is the same as always. Not that bad. Pretty spring basin and little cavern with a few hundred feet of no mount / sidemount cave. There are much better cave dives downstream from there but it is one of the prettiest spring basins in Florida. If you need some information on other springs in the area let me know.
I see Russell replied while I was typing and it looks as if we are both questioning the location.
Thank you for the replies. I apologize I didn't mention it is all about Cypress Spring near Vernon...
I heard the basin is quite beautiful. A good spot to take some nice pictures or videos I guess. I am trying to collect some information about canoe rentals in Vernon to get to the spring. I was just a little bit concerned about the flow in the river. Good to know someone went there not so long ago.
Flow on Holmes Creek is low. My wife and I paddle it several times a month. I live in Panama City Beach and have several extra kayaks. PM me when you're in the area.

It is a nice place to go for kayaking / swimming especially during the week when it is not to crowded. As Russell stated it is an easy paddle. There is a canoe / kayak rental shop at the park next to the bridge at Hwy 79 / Holmes Creek. They will take you upstream and drop you off within a few hundred yards of Cypress Springs. After spending your time at the spring just paddle downstream an hour or two to their shop next to the bridge at the park. There are several other springs along the way but none of them are a cave dive as far as I know. It is a really nice day trip. Pack a cooler with lunch and drinks and have a great time.
@Slüdge: Thank you. PM sent.
@Bamafan: Thank you for the tips.
