Default Conditions in Leon Sinks Area?

Anyone know conditions at places like Emerald, Harveys, etc in the Leon Sinks General Area south of Tallahassee?

As os Sunday, 6/13, Emerald had about 50 ft of viz once you reached 20 ffw. The top 20 feet was milky, I suspect from swimmers on Saturday kicking up the clay bank.

Saturday 6/12, Promise and Go-between were beautiful, must have been 60'+ viz. Jusst watch out for the local male 'naturalist' group flying their flags when you come up from the dive.

As of Jun 26 (yesterday) Emerald viz is tolerable down to 15 feet, below that it is VERY tannic (black more like it) and not recommended. We had to spend $15 plus tax each to find this out and no refunds if we did not dive. SUX!

    Forrest,

We dove in Peacock last weekend and there was no mention of this, I displayed our passes as usual and there was no issue. What the heck is going on with these eegits now?
Is this a locally enforced thing? Sounds like local county politics are alive and well....
