    Default Leon Sinks

    Hi,
I am not from the north Florida region so I am not aware of all the access policies. There is a lot of caves in the region of Leon Sinks. I knot that some of them are on private lands but is there some sites that we can access without being part of some organisation...

I heard we could make a demand to access Emerald. Is that still the case?

Thanks and have a merry christmas.

    Phil

The Wakulla County Dive Club has worked on and gained access for a few different systems. You must be a member of the club to dive these systems, though. However, we have had a lot of rain lately and the Leon systems are mostly all blown.

You may as well not get excited about Leon Sinks for a couple of months. They are all blown out by the recent rains.

There are a few that accessible to anyone if you're willing to walk better than a mile. You'll be rewarded by silty brown water and strong flow thanks to the recent rains.
