I already made the requisite smart aleck post on TDS, so I'll leave this one alone.

I am the owner of the scooter. It got away from me on Thursday. Thanks to who found it. I will be in touch with Ginnie management.

How do you lose a scooter?
I want to know so I don't lose mine.

you lose it by not ensuring it is REALLY clipped off when you reclip it to your d ring to get it out of the way while hanging on the log decoing at Ginnie. i thought i had secured it but apparently i had not or i rubbed agaisnt the log in such a way to unclip it and the slight positive buoyancy and the flow carried it away. i was really bummed. i looked underwater and down the bank of the river for an hour. many thanks to who found it. you get a case of whatever works for you anytime from me. there are some really good people involved in this activity of ours
