Scooter found!

you lose it by not ensuring it is REALLY clipped off when you reclip it to your d ring to get it out of the way while hanging on the log decoing at Ginnie. i thought i had secured it but apparently i had not or i rubbed agaisnt the log in such a way to unclip it and the slight positive buoyancy and the flow carried it away. i was really bummed. i looked underwater and down the bank of the river for an hour. many thanks to who found it. you get a case of whatever works for you anytime from me. there are some really good people involved in this activity of ours

A Silent Submersion N-19 was found in the river and turned over to Ginnie Springs management yesterday. The owner may call and identify it to claim it.

I bought one of those Brother P-Touch label makers (the store was out of Label Baby Juniors), and I put my name and phone number on all my stages, reels, and whatnot. Might as well add the scooters to the list!

The Good Samaritan was an unidentified camper from the "Turkey Roost" area who found the scooter near the river bank on Friday and notified Ginnie Springs mgt. (I had stopped by Saturday afternoon to visit with Mark & Rose after my latest trip to Shands.) Rose told me about the scooter and asked me to put the word out.

I'm glad the owner knows it was found. I would hate to loose one.
