    Default Scooter found!

A Silent Submersion N-19 was found in the river and turned over to Ginnie Springs management yesterday. The owner may call and identify it to claim it.
    Ginnie Springs: (386) 454-7188.

I already made the requisite smart aleck post on TDS, so I'll leave this one alone.

A buddy told me he lost one last week. I called him and he should be calling shortly to leave a message. He is soo relieved that it was found

It hurt to hear that the scooter was lost.

I am the owner of the scooter. It got away from me on Thursday. Thanks to who found it. I will be in touch with Ginnie management.

When I saw the heading of this thread, I thought someone had let John Jones borrow another scooter

    Default lost scooter

you lose it by not ensuring it is REALLY clipped off when you reclip it to your d ring to get it out of the way while hanging on the log decoing at Ginnie. i thought i had secured it but apparently i had not or i rubbed agaisnt the log in such a way to unclip it and the slight positive buoyancy and the flow carried it away. i was really bummed. i looked underwater and down the bank of the river for an hour. many thanks to who found it. you get a case of whatever works for you anytime from me. there are some really good people involved in this activity of ours

Wish I had found it, love single malt scotch and a case would be fabulous...

Glad you got your scooter back.
