Post looking for Faber 108's - Houston area

    Hi Forum,

I recently moved to to Houston, and as bringing a bunch of cylinders with me by plane was not really an option, I now have to find some cylinders.

I am looking for a pair of Faber 108's for sidemount I only dive a MSR bag as wing so unfortunately it seems like the 130's might be a bit heavy.

I would also be looking at a few 80's and a 40 but those are fairly easy to rent, so I am more interested in the 108's.

let me know if you have anything that could be of interest

    Best regards

    Anders

That would be great! they should have the same buoyancy characteristics as the Fabers right ?

OMS cylinders are made by Faber. The only difference is, they have US markings.

I am honestly not sure if these are or not, they were bought from CA a few years back. They seem heavy to me (dove them a few times). They lay really flat in the water though. Ill ping him for more info.

I bet they are LP 109's. I had a set that I got from Edd. They are like a 108 but with a heavier butt end so they din't get light. I could never trim them out without weights on my sholders. I am 6'4" so I am feet heavy anyway. If you are normally head heavy or using them with trimix they would probably work great.
