Default Trailer stolen with fill station bottles, etc - Houston, Texas area

I'm not sure how much good this will do as I think these punks will probably ditch or try and sell my bank bottles for use outside of diving.. Who knows..

Last night just before 10 pm my 16' cargo trailer parked in front of my office was stolen. Two of the video cameras in my security system were covering that area but all we can make out is the black / dark truck and shadows of two people. I didn't have the system installed to cover the outside as much as the entry ways or I would have had great video. It took them a good 10 minutes to get through the trailer tongue lock and wheel lock. While it sucks they were able to get away with it, I'm just as disappointed at what was inside:

8x 4500 PSI bank bottles just recently in need of their first hydro
    4x 3600 PSI bank bottles
3x 2400 PSI He bank bottles
    Associated plumbing, regs and hyper-filter
    2x AL80's no-paint

There was assorted other diving gear that I'm not able to list yet as I have been in the process of moving and still need to unpack everything to figure that out. Fortunately, the compressor, my scooter, regs and most of my other gear was not in there.

Never even got to set the fill station up... Bummer..

I'd appreciate it if by chance anyone happens to see any of the fill station components show up for sale. I'll keep a look out for the AL's but they are generic as they come.

    Thanks,
    David

That really sucks. I am very sorry to hear about this, I hope somehow you manage to track them down.

Well, hopefully when they see all of that and realize they have no use for it, they will just dump them by the side of the road, and if you have reported it missing, maybe, just maybe, you might get it back. We can always hope, at least.

If they have no use for them, you might consider contacting a local scrap yard… A long shot, but who knows.

Dude, you just can't get a break! You know I'm always on the look out for more bottles. I'll let you know if I come across anything.

Sure, I have.. I'm alive.. That being said, if you find them, I'll split them with you. (Now I really regret not getting back out there sooner and leaving them with you as I had planned)

Make sure to file a police report, then search http://www.searchtempest.com/ to see if some jag is trying to sell it on Craigslist in any city within 1,000 miles of you. If it shows up, you'll have your ducks in a row to have that police dept. help out.

Look at the local Motorcycle sites for your trailer, A 16 footer is only good for three things: Bikes, Landscape equipment, and Dive gear.

If you have a picture of the trailer, post it here. 16' enclosed trailers can look vastly different from one another.
