    Default LP 125's and Sidemount

I know this has been beaten to death in the past, with a 7mm wetsuit will I need weight. I am 6'2 and 218 lbs. and new to sidemount. I have made 5 dives with my HP 100's and my weight was fine. I will be in Cave Country
1/24/2010 and want to dive my 125's.

NO! 125s are pretty heavy, but you should be big enough to handle them. You won't need any weight, though.

    Smile 125's

Thank you, I was hoping they would be ok.
When I had them setup to backmount they were fine.
Here in Ohio we don't caring lights and reels on every dive and I
    forget about the extra weight.

The real question is how big is your wing? You may be plastered on the bottom.

and consider redundant buoyancy unless you plan to walk out if the wing fails (i tried a lift bag once and it was ok once you find the sweet spot, but not much fun).

    Default Thought about depth?

Perhaps another consideration is depth? Diving wet with my 104's, once I get much below 85' my Rec wing did not offer enough lift to compensate for the compression of the neoprene. (sold my dry suits when I moved to FL from OR, oops!) Went to a larger, redundant wing and have been quite happy since... a little chilly sometimes, but quite happy.

They sure get very light when nearly empty. Don't need weight in the beginning, but if you had a CTJM,then weight could be needed.

Come To Jesus Moment? You mean like using most of your last third just getting out? Hug the "deco tree"
