Dive safe and don't take it personally. We are just trying to clarify the whole thing, seems to change with the moon phases or something.

I admit it is frustrating, but given the fact that I am only 19, I am one of the kiddies at the front counter

I don't intend to be talking about them in a negative light. I intend to be truthful and somewhat candid. I will be the first to tell you that Rose will go to great lengths to resolve this matter and make it clear what the rules are. I will also be the first to tell you that Ginnie sometimes takes a while to do things because the lines of communication and authority are sometimes not very clear. I love Ginnie, and would never slander them on a public forum, especially considering they are my employer. However, I have no problem joking around about the fact that there have been some mishaps with communication about this issue at Ginnie. I do see that sometimes the humor in my tone can be lost an internet forum, since I'm using Times New Roman font and not Comic Sans Please don't get me wrong, I'm trying to be lighthearded and offer a slightly funny insiders' view of how this and other issues are playing out/have played out. It can be a mess trying to get things accomplished, and that's trust of any business, and I don't mean it to be any sharp criticism of Ginnie Springs, which is, quite honestly, a great place to work. I enjoy my job, but I enjoy it best when everyone--customers, employees and management alike, are happy and arrived at a good solution. Didn't mean to put my employer in a negative light, I was just trying to shine a different light on this so you could all see that Rose is up to her neck in things that need to be done and she's doing them all as fast as she can While she gets the place back up to speed and working like the well oiled machine it can be, some things have not been communicated well, and that's not a negative thing, just a thing. It's a side effect of improvement, and I did not meant it to sound like any great criticism: I love my employer and my employer loves to make things run smoothly for cave divers!

Rose should be working all day on Tuesday. I know the manager today was looking forwards to a few days off

Just got off the phone with Rose and she is not going to require you to have a CCR Cave card to dive the rebreather in the cave. However, you must have full cave and a ccr card to use it. Dive Safe.

Sorry, didn't mean to dis Ginnie staff. They have always been polite and tried to be helpful. The crew does an excellent job of maintaining and manageing the park. My frustration is too many instructors, chasing a limited number of students. Thus the need to create new "required" certifications. Yes, I am aware of the liability issues.

Thanks again for doing a great (underpaid and underapprediated) job.

In that case, they will have to issue the annual pass holders new cards that say rebreather as well as DPV. One reason I get the pass is that I only have to show it and I'm in.

That's pretty much what she told us about a month ago. I hope that everyone in the staff gets the word and there are no more issues about cards....

Thanks for taking the time to clarify policies and hopefully get them published somewhere...

    Dive safe,

They just put "DPV" sticker on it if you get a DPV card while already owning annual pass.
