Every comment about the check-in has been correct. There appears to be no set procedure. A lot depends on who is working the gate. I do believe that getting to Ginnie very early is going to be helpful. Early is before 6AM which is when the office is now open for check-ins. If you're arriving around 7:30-8AM, then good luck.

By now, I'm sure everyone is aware that there is NO diving allowed at Ginnie on the 4th. Now having said that, I have a " tentative" plan to dive Ginnie sometime around 0300-0400 on Saturday the 4th. I'll be at Ginnie this afternoon and I'll ask the question and see what response I get. The plan is to get in and get out before the drunks wake up and the crowds take over. I'll post the answer later today!!
