Default Lost - arrows, cookies, and holder

I am missing a piece of black rubber tubing with a brass bolt snap and a few arrows and cookies on it. Marked MM or Morgan. Not sure where I left it, but I'm guessing Peacock 3 or Lafayette Blue upstream from Kitty Sink. If you find it please drop it at Dive Outpost.

    Thanks, Mike

How is Lafayette blue. Dove it once and it wasn’t great conditions and haven’t gotten back since cause it’s always bad. Are the stairs to kitty fixed? I’d like to go in at trap but I know it’s getting close to hunting season so not the best idea if you don’t wanna piss off the hunters.

Pissing off the hunters is least concern, some hunters will shoot at brush movement without a clear target. This is the one time of the year I don't do ridge walking or look for an alternate entrance.

Three weeks ago the vis was about 40 feet. Got in at Kitty and went about 2000 feet upstream and back. The steps have not been fixed.

The most unusual part of the dive is that while we were gearing up in the sink a six foot black racer fell down the bank into the sink, then went back up the bank and disappeared. Made us jump!

Well that too. Trap is located pretty close to a huntin area isnt it. I remember seeing game cameras but no stands. But i would assume it would ve wisely off limits for now?

Can it be assumed if upstream of kitty looks good then it probably looks ok from the headspring up to kitty or is that a stretch?

Lafayette isn't a the best place to look around. The land owners adjacent to the property aren't fond of trespassers, and of course there is property that is leased out for hunting.

Your assumption would be correct. Typically visibility is better downstream of Kitty. It is worthwhile to look at the parallel downstream tunnel. The easiest way to access it is at the top of Stephens 2 debris cone, there is line on the other side that Ts into that line. That line does tend to get buried in the bottom, but be careful because it has been known to hide a T- I tried my best to fix it many years ago.
