    Default Insulation room stick

What?s the deal with that stick in the insulation room ? The line is pinned up against it and I was thinking it would make great use making ?stick biscuits? at Waynes if it?s of no importance or sentimental value.

For many years ( decades actually ) there has been a stick that has been used to keep the line from going into a line trap on the right wall as you are exiting the insulation room. Don't know if it's the same one you're talking about, but if so, it's been there for a long, long time!

There once was a time when the Insulation tunnel bacterial mat was 6-8 inches deep. The line used to get lost in the mat very easily, and if you touched it,instant silt out. The days of the insulation tunnel being gone, are like no longer having cornflakes. The broom stick is one of those quirky landmarks that has been there for decades. It could probably be removed, but then you would be that person who removed it, if there is any social media angst.

The common joke was the broomstick was holding the ceiling up in that part of the cave.

I thought that room was called the broom closet. The place where everyone swept the fuzzies because the dust pan fell off the wagon.

LOL, Cameron! It's kinda sad how it looks now... MichaelAngelo did a great job of restoring the whalebone and there used to be so much "insulation"!

    Safe diving,
