    Default Sweet Surprise unspoken rules????

Is there any unspoken rule for the direction that a team must traverse the Sweet Suprise to Mainland circuit? I ask since we staged tanks for it today and on our way back found more stages. I have absolutlely no interest in trying to back out of there if we meet another team.

I’ve only heard of people going sweet surprise to mainland mainly because it would make no sense to swim up stream in the flow to retrieve your scooter

I have always done it the other way simply because I had not yet learned where the first jump was. I guess we will follow your wisdom for tomorrow.

I've only done it Sweet Surprise to Mainland for the reason listed, easier drift back to our scooters than to swim upstream.

May need a traffic cop there this weekend. Sounds like that?s going to be a busy place.

Typically most people will drop full stage/saftey at mainland and put jump in.on exit of setup dive they will put the jump in at sweet suprise than come back the following dive using stages and scooter with proper gas management to sweet suprise.leave stage and dpv than do the circuit.this way if you have an issue once you’ve pushed trough the connection you still have full safety at mainland and than swim with the flow back to you dpvs at sweet suprise than clean it up.

Totally correct assessment of this dive!

Mainland to Sweet Surprise can be much easier, but it takes 2 scooters (each) and a clean up dive.

I've heard you can take your scooter with. Haven't tried it personally, but I was able to get a GUE configured CCR rig through just fine with a stage.
