Except youtube is much easier to download and watch later. Especially helpful if your highspeed is wireless like mine and I can download elsewhere. One of the joys of country living is more bandwidth costs much more $.

    Thanks Matt

Default Sedation/anesthetics used for cave rescue

I saw something, and felt it was something to share. This is the first I?ve seen regarding the sedation utilized for the rescue. I know most of you do not have a medical backround but it will let you appreciate the gravity of the accomplishment as seen by individuals who know nothing about cave diving.

Twitter. They didn't use PEEP masks, they used Ocean Reef full face scuba masks.

Not sure why folks on twitter feel the need to second guess Dr. Harris.

    From an ABC (US) article:

"It's routinely given so that people are asleep, presumably pain-free, without anxiety," Dr. Paul Auerbach, emergency medicine expert and Stanford University professor, told 20/20. "It has a wonderful safety profile. Ketamine is an excellent drug for children."

edit: You joined in 2008 and this is your first post - congrats!
