Peacock 1 Mainline Question

On the Peacock 1 mainline headed toward Pothole where is the mid point arrows (distance wise) and where does that line carry on to? This weekend I did Orange Grove, Peacock 1 mainline and Little River. Of the three Peacock had the worst markings on the line arrows. Not that I am OWED anything but with doing Orange Grove first I got a bit spoiled by how well the line arrows on that line are nicely marked. Thanks in advance.

Peacock 1 to Olsen has back to back line arrows at 700 ft point. The midway line arrows between P1 and Pothole were removed and Pothole was removed as a reliable emergency egress point. Within the last 5 years the bank of Pothole has detached and started sliding into the sink. It has been felt that someone trying an emergency egress can/will encounter a lot of debris making the exit more complicated. From Pothole you are approx. 400ft from P1.

So if I am on the mainline and hit midway line arrows I am half way to Olson and that is at the 700' mark, correct?

For MY opinion, Pothole is a valid emergency exit that anyone who dives the P1 to Olsen line should know.
I wouldn't say so if i haven't checked it myself:
from the outside - the sink is stable, mostly rock solid (i took a walk to check it).
from the inside - it is clean and wide ascent through a vertical fissure that can fit 2-3 diver team in an emergency all the way to the surface. the up line is still there, with a ~10 foot gap from the mainline.

i'm not trying to encourage using it as an normal exit or entry (which is not good enough for) but i will use it for emergency without hesitation.

p.s. it can be missed if you won't look up at the right spot.
