Default Flowing, liquified sand in a cave????

I came across something the other day in a cave that I have never seen before. I was exploring a creek rise in the panhandle and I saw what looked like a river of liquified sand flowing down a slope. Visibility was only about 2 ft so I couldn't really see what was there but I stayed and watched it for awhile. It was pretty cool. What might be causing that?

School of catfish all swimming the same direction?

(It is odd to have a question about sand slides today)

sometimes vent pushes sand uphill and it rolls back when critical point is reached. seen it at two Pot springs long time ago.

Search for video of diving Montezuma's Well. It's on youtube and the National Park Service site.
