    Default Telford flowing strong

Took my boat to Telford Wednesday. Flow up, silty, but 20' vis ( in front of you). Had to pull line out of sand in places. Full of glass.

Thanks TJ for the update...I was curious how recent conditions impacted Telford...

Broken glass - mostly beer bottles. Back before land access was blocked by the landowners, Telford was a big party spot.

I found a 1920s Pepsi bottle barely sticking up from the sand in the sink hole back in the early 90s. I think it was a 'party spot' for quite some time.

I pulled a grill out of the first sink this past summer. I later went back with a mesh bag to try and collect all the trash bits, but upon picking up a beer bottle I noticed there were actually critters living inside of it, so I decided not to remove anything. I've been meaning to talk to Kelly about how to handle that kind of thing.

Before the flood there was also a hoodie/sweater in a side tunnel towards the front. I was planning on removing that at some point this year as well.

Amazing in that if you look on the surface the denuded vegetation and erosion have shown little signs of recovery with several years of closure. Reminds me of the condition of Little River before they made the changes, which really helps gives some validity to what they did.

Where is the glass in the cave or OW or both? We have hit Telford a while back as part of the Great Suwanee River Cleanup but the last 2 years have been flooded. I can help organize a cleanup this year when conditions improve some.
