I can't believe that you bunch of reprobates are even joking about eating manatees! As big as they are, they are mostly hide, bones, and guts. Hardly enough usable meat to make them worth the trouble of dressing out.
Cave dives are alot like drinking to me. It was a whole lot more fun when I was underage and not supposed to be doing it.

I've eaten almost every wild mammal that lives here in the Great North Woods, with the exception of the canids, mustelids, and chiroptera. And no rodents except beaver and muskrat.
Did you ever wonder what game wardens do with illegally taken animals that they confiscate? My dad fed his family with them.

Most Manatees sleep at night and will congregate by the warmest area which is the spring head. During the day they will move out to look for food however a few may be catching siestas during the day at the spring head as well.
