I remember 1998 being the year we had the flood at Peacock that covered the paved road. The aquifer that supplied Jackson Blue was pumping so hard that it was a miracle if you made it to the second breakdown. I remember one dive trying to go past the second breakdown with a hot DV3X,and it just shuddered, and there was no forward movement on speed 9. I tried to use swimming, pulling etc,but I was not making any real positive gains. Lesson learned-never,ever get off the trigger with the scooter in front of you (should have done a crazy Ivan),that scooter caught the flow, and smacked me right in the face. If you pull up my hairline on my forehead you will see ANKET imprinted on my forehead

What is this "hairline on the forehead" you speak of?

Since this is the Peacock Closed Thread, any word on when Peacock might be open again? I see the river in going down in Luraville gage

Line committee members from the NFSA went there Tuesday and reported that dark tannic water was still coming out of the cave at P1. Hopefully it will clear up soon.

Optical illusion. Both are pretty tannic. Not as bad as I had suspected though. I expected coffee and saw it was light iced tea. If you've got a little car you're gonna hope the water on the park roads recedes as quickly as the spring water clears.

There is surface communication between OG and Cisteen, and this is tannic water.
