I have touched every part of BM and and every part of SM and it made me realise that SM is by far the better choice since SM allows me to see every single cave....

Probably depends on what you touch (and/or how much or often...).

Well for touching yourself back mount is clearly superior. Unless you like touching your butt them sidemount is indeed the new abnormal.

I think IANTD allows full cave to be taught in SM too

IANTD and TDI both do. Not sure about all the other agencies though. I think NACD only allows it if there is a documented medical reason to do so, not 100% sure.

PSAI allows just about ANY training to be performed in Sidemount and that includes Open Water Diver. PSAI also has actual Student Manuals, PPT Slides, Lesson Plan/Skills List and standardized written Exams for Sidemount in either the open water or overhead environments.
