I take sips in just about every fresh water place I dive and have done so for years.

Calling the Health Department is of little assurance. I called today and they said the levels are within standards but that the Sheriff's Office may still decide they know better and post a deputy to ward off swimmers. In other words, not a warning but a "you can't get in the water". In addition they told me the surrounding septic systems are in compliance so unless the surrounding property is purchased and the drain fields condemned the problem will arise again and again.

Actually you reminded me of a Pauly Shore joke which I won't repeat here.

Not even upstream...too many divers with p- valves

I try to warn the locals every time I see them pull out a couple of jugs from Jacobs Well. There was an RV park above the cave and the septic system was never drained completely

    You got it!
I passed on Slingblade to work on Bio-dome. (Well actually, I was already hired and working on Bio-dome when I got asked about Slingblade.)
Anyway, that tent flashback scene is exactly what I thought of when I saw your post.

When I first read this I thought you meant you take a crap in the shower while your wife is with you. I had to think about it for a minute. lol

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.
