My wild guess is there would be a demand for at least a dozen, maybe more.

    Forrest,
I looked into this a couple of years ago. Here's what I got from www.mushield.com:

"We can offer you 12" wide material, I calculate that you will need about 20' worth of material to achieve .5" wide strips 12" long, for $150.

This material does not come with an Inlac or any other insulating coating. "

Thats alot of cutting and there wasn't any insulating coat with it, but that was 2 years ago.

How well does the ferrite core work? What sort of penetration are you getting through limestone? Are you willing to make more?

I talked to Ken alot about his - https://sites.google.com/site/kendiver/pinger but never built one due to all the 8000+ wraps you have to do to. The plans are simple, I priced it out to about $200 for a set using the guys from mushield.com. I talked to about 6 others and got some crazy prices, one was $1500 for the cores!

I thought you built some with ferrite cores? Mike Poucher has a set. Who built that set?

If someone is willing to make antennas, I'd be happy to work on the electronics of it. Hopefully Brian has some boards still available, but if not they're easy to have more built and besides I'd like to change some things with the board anyway.
