FW, I won't disagree with you that Telford has sediment that isn't quite normal "silt," but "silt," geologically speaking, is a particle size. In cave diving, it's just the term for all fine-ish sediment, so it's already a term of art. That Telford has it's own slight twist on it doesn't make it more or less "silty" than any other cave down there.![]()
