I feel like I'm taking crazy pills...

I need to go find an unsuspecting, newly-certified OW diver looking for a "Nitrox computer" before they have a chance to get online and realize how much of a bust this thing is.

haha i feel the same way!!!

    Off to Scubaboard!!

Just kidding.... kinda... I actually like the computer. I just want to be able to use it to its full potential.

Maybe I have bad luck, same thing happened to me with the UEMIS.

Just got an email from Jon at Dive Rite, he says he just received 50 new units and it's going to be the start of a ramped up production.

Software should be available at the end of the month.

Good Lord I hope so! Thanks for the info.

But did he say *which* month?

    From Jon-

    Tyler,

Well production is stepping up. I got 50 in last week that went out and 50 more are on the way. Then the larger production will be in place a couple of weeks after that so they will finally be available for immediate shipment. It’s turning out to be a solid computer. As for the workbench it should be done by the end of the month. I keep being optimistic about the date of that and it seems to always come and go but I think this time it will be up and running and then people can download and use the dive planning features on it. I’ve got one I’ve been diving and I’m happy with it.

And finally, a ray of hope!

After a discussion with some DR folks, several sources indicate the SW for the Q should be available in a couple weeks. This is far better than the month or two that has been suggested since the end of last year.

Not only will this include dive logging and planning tools, but access to download a number of firmware updates as well.

My Q needs to go on a cave dive now.

Well, considering that six months have elapsed since the end of last year...

Any update on the software? See someone said end of month in May.
