Greetings all and Steve Gamble is not just for Florida! Here in IN he has quite a good standing and many suits have been his way.
Steve's skills are second to none. I would prefer to have him work on my suit over the manufacturer.
His turn around time is unbelievable even when you are several states away.
If I ever have a problem in FL when I am diving I will drive the suit up to him easily. NO BRAINER!
    Good luck,
    JCG

This is what I am thinking too. sounds like Steve does great work, and it will likely be less costly with faster turnaround time than DUI. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in how "porous" my tls has become - and I am very careful with it when wearing and storing it. The tls is my first DS, the Santi looks appealing. I also wonder how the new DUI flx extreme will hold up?

this seems to be totally uncontested, which is really odd for an internet forum
Course i took my dry suit to Steve when it busted in Florida, he'd quote/charge such a low rate i'd have to give him more just to feel right about it...and he did a great job.

It has already been back to DUI once about a year+ ago for leak repair, they replaced faulty zip seal rings on the wrists, patched the turbosoles and a bunch of pinholes. It was dry for a short time but has progressively been leaking more - I need to get it sorted before my cave country visit in Nov. I suspect the zipper will need to be changed, the turbosoles for sure, and there is an arm leak somewhere I can't find. My LDS (where I bought the suit) insists on only using DUI's repair service, especially for replacing zippers. (They suggested only DUI could do satisfactory work especially on the zipper). Is there anything in your collective experiences that would support or refute this?
Just sell that POS DUI Drysuit and get a Santi. That's just about all there is to it.

I'm wondering what you people are doing to your DUI suits. I've had three TLS-350s and they've all been dry until they got some years on them (six or more).

+1 & +1 on Gamble and the Santi. I bought an E-Space, though I'm not at the point where I love the suit yet. I still have my Diving Concepts Neo-Z which is also a great suit.

    Repairing them alot. haha
Also, if truth be told, just knocking the DUI Brand a bit as we are Santi Dealers. I wanted to end the many and varied headaches.

For the record, both shops I work for sell DUI - my ten-plus years of experience with DUI suits is a factor as to why we sell them.
