    Default Cow - 12/13/2008

Wonderful dive in Cow yesterday. Water level in the sink is nominal (EEK...too much NASA)
    Vis was MORE than nominal.
    Flow was moderate.

The ONLY think that made me SOOO SAD was the new vandalism. I came around the corner and saw that (uffda). Gads.

Very nice , very nice dive !!!
Tx to the Old Fenidges (wink)

Thanks for sharing, Jean! See ya soon!

I can't wait to get in there later this month. I'm going to try to close my eyes when I pass the "wreckage" ... makes me so mad!

Uff da (can also be spelled uff-da, uffda, uff-dah, oofda, ufda, oofta or ufta) is an exclamation of Norwegian origin that is relatively common in the Upper Midwestern states of the United States. It roughly means "drats," "oops!" or "ouch!", especially if the "ouch!" is an empathetic one. In Norwegian Midwestern USA culture, "Uff Da" translates into: "I am overwhelmed." It has become a mark of Scandinavian roots, particularly for people from North Dakota and northern Minnesota.
