Isn't that guy in the picture Richard?
With 75 dives at PSSP over the last 10 years, I think I saw Richard five times.
I thought he was just waiting to retire in another 2-3 years.

And Peacock is not doing as well without Janet. I was there last weekend and it already looks unkept. You guys lost a great asset with Janet. Sure hope some of you find the time to thank her for all she has done for us.

FWIW, a different female ranger was closing up, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Every time I saw Janet at Peacock she was always busy doing something to keep that place clean. I don't recall ever seeing her without some sort of tool in her hand. She was always either sweeping the tables and benches, snipping the roots that grew into the foot paths (to keep us from tripping), or picking up trash. Not to mention she was pretty active here in keeping us informed of conditions at PSSP. This is not to say the guy (what's your name?) won't be good, but he's got huge boots to fill.

Janet, if you ever see this, thanks for everything you did. You really did make a difference! We'll miss seeing you at PSSP.

This is sad news. I was just up there the weekend before last and we spent time talking with Janet (as always). She gave no indication she was leaving. Janet always had good tales to tell and a smile on her face. I hope she is happy in her future endeavors.
