Met up with Curt Schuster and headed up to Peacock. We both had full tanks, so we headed straight to the park. For our first dive, I led up the Peanut line. Visibility is much better than the last time I was there, and flow is almost non-existent. Visibility increased even more once past the Crossover Tunnel. With the increased vis, I noticed a lot more offshoots, including one up in the ceiling just after the Breakdown Room. At the Peanut restriction, the line is over to the left in a line trap, making it difficult should someone need to follow the line in a siltout. We turned the dive at the end of the line. Back at the cavern, we had no deco obligations.

On the second dive, Curt led up the Peacock Line, to the end of the line at Olsen. Several of the concrete line placements have been dragged across the floor scaring things up pretty bad. On the way back, we quickly jumped over towards Peacock 2, but the line was way off the mainline so Curt's jump reel didn't have enough line to make it. Again, we had no deco obligation.

We had the park practically to ourselves; three other teams the entire day! On the way home, we stopped at both Telford and Little River. The river has gone WAY down, both systems are pumping hard and clear. Telford II is also clear, but Terrapin is still tannic. Lots of locals at both sites.

I dove Little River yesterday and you are correct about it pumping but wrong about the clear part. The System is blowing out some serious particulates some of which are the size of quarters. Called the dive on time as we were diving air not nitrox. I dove Telford also and it has about 20' of vis at best but I only went to 1st sink it might get clearer after that but not to good from cavern to the 1st sink.

On what we mean by clear.
As we did not dive the two systems and are speaking of the general condition of the surface pools, clear is an accurate discription compared to two weeks ago when Telford looked like mud soup. As far as the systems go they are probably still in the clearing process.
