Cave Diver Arrow 'Ohio Blue Hole'

I am posting this here in the Dive Reports forum in the hopes this will be the first of many posts for this new thread. Today, in the local paper I saw an article about an undiscovered 'Blue Hole'..This weekend I am going to check it out. I am attaching a scan of the article that was in the paper. I can only imagine going into somewhere where no man has gone before. Just like Captain James T. Kirk exploring uncharted territory. A new "Wakkula"...A huge labrynth of a cave system. A place where even GI lll has not been. Crystal clear water. 100 foot vis. This weekend I will take the fist pics and post the report.

    I am pumped!

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but there's virtually no chance that this is going to be a cave.... Any caves that may have existed in Ohio would have been completely filled in by sediments from the Laurentide Ice Sheet.

If it's undiscovered, how do they know about it?

They laughed at Edison. They thought Henry Ford could not replace the horse. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were 'geeks'----my list could go on and on. Let's wait for the pictures and DIVE reports,,,,then let's see who is laughing

Not necessarily true - Where there is limestone there are caves. In my home state (WI) they have caves.

Likewise, in Ohio there are caves.
