I am just starting cavern/basic cave training and need to get a set of doubles. Since I'm on a budget, I would like to try and work out a trade of some type. I'm looking for a set of LP95's, since I'm currently diving wet w/ a 40# wing, but willing to discuss other tank sizes.
I have for trade a Rock River Arms M4gery. This is an M2 (carry handle) version in a post ban configuration. It has a fixed telescopic stock, M4 chrome lined 16" barrel, M4 handguards, and a pressed on flash suppressor (looks like a flash suppressor, but not functional). For optics, it has an Aimpoint Comp ML2 in an ARMS #22M68 flip lever mount, which is mounted to a PRI gooseneck adapter. This co-witnesses w/ the standard iron sights.
The gun was purchased in 2003 and has maybe a couple hundred rounds through it. It is in perfect condition. I have over $1200 in it, not counting the six 30 round mags.
Obviously, it's worth more than a typical set of doubles, so there would need to be some additional cash involved, or additional gear. Another option might be to separate the optics from the gun, as the optics & mounts were around $600 alone.
From a gear standpoint, other things I would be looking for a good drysuit (5'11", 220 lb), O2 deco bottle w/ oxygen clean reg, and possibly a wing if the doubles are something which would require something more than a 40# wing. I've got all my other gear, so I'm not really interested in anything else.
The rifle is a very nice piece of equipment in excellent condition, and I would expect the same in any potential trades. Face-to-face only, within an hour or so of the Tampa area.
Please PM me with any offers or further questions. I can take some photos this evening and email to interested parties.
Thanks,
John Giles
